In 2012, after having worked in Chile, and in his late twenties, Yohan decided to return to settle in his native region of Beaujolais. He then acquired 2 hectares of old vines in Moulin-à-Vent AOP, which from the start he cultivated without the use of pesticides. The estate now has 7 hectares of vineyards, including 5 hectares on the climate "Les Michelons", located on granite soils, rich in manganese and quartz, in the upper part of Moulin-à-Vent. Small plots on the appellation Chénas, Fleurie and Beaujolais-Villages complete the estate. Adept of wines with low interventions, Yohan vinifies without adding SO2 nor yeast, and without any chaptalization. Only a small amount of SO2 is added at bottling to ensure precision and the aromatic purity. The wines are aged on lees in old Burgundy barrels for a period of 9 to 18 months. They are then bottled without filtration. This process results in very clean wines with natural and expressive fruit and an elegant texture reflecting the strong personality of the terroirs and old vines; sometimes centuries old. This is a domain led by a young dynamic and in love with his vineyard.
