A COLLECTIVE + A TEAM + A SPIRIT = WINE TOGETHER Since 1972, Clairmont has been firmly established on the left bank of the Rhône, in the town of Beaumont-Monteux, very close to Tain-l'Hermitage and close to Valence. Clairmont, a small company on a human scale and with a family spirit, is a major player in Crozes-Hermitage, with 115 hectares in the heart of the appellation. The vineyard bears the name of the river because it is this bend in the earth that gives it its rhythm, gives it its authenticity and its point of origin. From one bank to the other, its movements are so many signs to understand the terroirs. The northern Rhône begins at Saint-Péray, opposite Valence and stretches to Saint-Cyr-sur-le-Rhône opposite Vienne. Located at the 45th parallel, it still enjoys a continental climate with cold winters and hot summers. Involvement and solidarity are at the heart of the collective. Over the years, the concept of plots has become increasingly important to become the heart of the development strategy. Each block is tasted before the harvest. We are therefore talking about cuvées from estates, offering all the singularity of the work of the associate winegrowers and the identity of their vineyard. Added to this is the possibility for winegrowers to participate in winemaking. Finally, a third of the surface area has been cultivated in organic viticulture since 1997!
